Peniel Pentecostal Church of Kenya ("we", "us") organises The Flow Conference 2026. This policy explains how we handle personal information collected through this website.
We are committed to handling your information lawfully, fairly and transparently, in line with the Kenya Data Protection Act, 2019.
What we collect
We only collect what a specific task requires. Nothing on this site is gathered "just in case".
- Conference registration — your name, phone number, and optionally your email, county and the number of people in your party.
- Partnership commitments — your name, phone number, and optionally your organisation, email, pledge amount, expected date and any notes you add.
- Giving — your name, phone number, and optionally your email, together with the amount and the outcome of the transaction.
- Newsletter — your email address only.
- Technical — your IP address and browser user agent, recorded with form submissions to prevent abuse.
What we never collect
We do not store card numbers, CVV codes, M-Pesa PINs or any payment credential. Card payments are completed entirely on our payment provider's own secure checkout, and M-Pesa PINs are entered only on your handset.
This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies, and runs no third-party analytics. The only cookie we set is the session cookie that keeps forms secure.
Why we use it
- To confirm your registration and plan seating, hospitality, security and communication.
- To send you conference updates, but only where you have agreed to receive them.
- To process and acknowledge your partnership, and to keep proper financial records.
- To protect the site from spam and automated abuse.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for marketing. It is disclosed only to the service providers who make the site work, and only to the extent each one needs:
| Provider | Purpose | What they receive |
|---|---|---|
| Safaricom (M-Pesa Daraja) | Processing M-Pesa payments | Phone number, amount |
| Paystack | Processing card and international payments | Name, email, amount |
| Our SMS provider | Sending confirmations and acknowledgements by text message | Phone number, message |
| Our email provider | Sending email confirmations and receipts | Name, email, message |
| Our hosting provider | Running the website and database | All stored data, at rest |
We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Registration and partnership records are kept for the conference and for a reasonable period afterwards for follow-up, reporting and financial accountability. Financial records are retained for as long as Kenyan law requires. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. Anti-spam records are deleted automatically within days.
How we protect it
- The whole site is served over HTTPS.
- Database credentials and payment keys are stored outside the public web directory and are never exposed to browsers.
- All database queries use prepared statements.
- Administrative access is password protected, and passwords are stored only as one-way hashes.
- Forms are protected against cross-site request forgery and automated abuse.
Your rights
Under the Data Protection Act, 2019 you have the right to:
- Ask what personal information we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct anything inaccurate.
- Ask us to delete your information, where we are not required to keep it.
- Withdraw your consent to marketing at any time.
- Object to how we are using your information.
- Lodge a complaint with the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner.
To exercise any of these, contact us using the details below. We will respond within a reasonable time and at no charge.
Children
The conference warmly welcomes children and families, but this website is intended for adults. Registrations for children should be made by a parent or guardian.
Changes
If this policy changes, the revised version will be published here with a new date at the top.
